Biography:  Gail Reynolds is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music, studying violin under Raphael Bronstein. She currently serves as String Consultant for Wallingford CT. Public Schools and performs with the Farmington Valley Symphony Orchestra. She is the former director of the high school string orchestras in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Mrs. Reynolds’ Glastonbury orchestras have performed at numerous CMEA Conferences, and her select string ensemble, Opus One, performed at the MENC Eastern Division Conference. She has served as guest conductor for Laurel Music Camp, and for youth orchestras in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Mrs. Reynolds has been active as orchestra manager, board member, and committee member for several music organizations including MENC, CMEA, ASTA and NEMFA (New England Music Festival Association). She is currently a member of the CMEA’s Student Affairs Commission, NEMFA’s Executive Board, and is serving for the third year as the Connecticut All State Festival’s General Chairman.
